  • Date and Time: Sunday, June 12 | 3:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Airties Speaker: Scott Stinson, Head of Business Development Americas BU
  • Session: FTTP and “In-Building” Connectivity Options
This session will focus on all the connectivity options available once you have driven Fiber to the most economical point and the building. Looking at the multi-gigabit technology options, advancements and supporting open standards for multi-vendor and technology interoperability within the broadband ecosystem. Covering technologies such as Fiber-to-the-room, next generation managed Wi-Fi, and reutilizing existing building copper infrastructure with Coax, G.hn and Gfast.
  • Presentation: Next-Generation Smart Wi-Fi Management
  • Description: Home Wi-Fi is seen as an essential investment by broadband service providers. According to recent Omdia research, 58% see offering gigabit speed as the largest opportunity for growing broadband ARPU. However, the move to Gigabit speeds also requires investment in better home Wi-Fi, in order for consumers to benefit from those speeds. This session discussed how utilizing next-gen smart Wi-Fi technologies, such as Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, can bring the speed and capacity benefits consumers desire, and serve as an effective means to help drive upgrades and increased ARPU.
